Job Summary:

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of all medical equipment within the rehabilitation hospital. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of biomedical devices, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical and rehabilitation equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance testing to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
• Work closely with clinical teams to support the effective use of medical devices in patient care.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and international healthcare regulations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors for procurement, servicing, and upgrades.
• Train hospital staff on proper use and maintenance of medical devices.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.
• Assist in the planning and evaluation of new medical technologies for the hospital.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation-related medical equipment.
• Familiarity with international and local healthcare equipment regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Saudi nationals are preferred.
