Job Description
Job Overview:
GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular & Radiology Technician to support our diagnostic and imaging services. You will perform both cardiovascular and radiology procedures to ensure accurate results and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures such as:
- Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG)
- Holter monitoring
- Treadmill stress testing
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM)
- Ankle-brachial index (ABI)
- Vascular ultrasounds (if trained)
- Echocardiogram
- Stress test
- VO2 Max
- Remote data/monitoring
- Handle administrative tasks, including patient documentation, scheduling, and data entry related to imaging and cardiovascular procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow safety protocols, infection control standards, and radiation protection guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
- Assist in triaging patients for cardiac evaluations as part of the diabetes risk assessment.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent
- DHA license or eligibility as a Cardiovascular Technician in Dubai (or relevant authority).
- Experience in both cardiovascular procedures and radiology imaging preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Experience working with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and non-invasive testing protocols.
- Ability to prepare reports and handle administrative tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-centered environment
