Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Insurance Coder at Advance care Prosthetic Orthotic Center in Dubai. The Insurance Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and keeping up-to-date with health information management. Duties include reviewing clinical statements, assigning standard codes, working closely with healthcare providers to clarify diagnostic and procedural information, and ensuring compliance with medical coding guidelines and regulations. The coder will also need to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive healthcare data appropriately.

Qualifications

Coding Experience and proficiency in Medical Coding
RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification and understanding of Health Information Management
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
High attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Experience in the healthcare or prosthetic/orthotic industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health Information Management or related field
