Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IP Coder at Dubai Medical University Hospital in Dubai. The IP Coder will be responsible for accurately coding inpatient records using ICD and CPT coding systems. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines, and collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ICD and CPT coding systems
• Experience in reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate codes
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and guidelines
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare providers
• Ability to work independently and on-site in Dubai
• Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus
