Responsibilities

• Adheres to the division’s policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Provides evidence-based diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders, including but not limited to epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, headaches, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases.
• Conducts and interprets neurological assessments, including EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging, to guide accurate clinical decisions.
• Collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered neurological care.
• Participates in case discussions, research activities, and quality improvement programs aimed at enhancing neurological services.
• Engages in continuous professional development and contributes to clinical education and training initiatives within the department.
• Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and their families.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Desired:

• Bachelor of Medicine/MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution or as defined by DOH PQR.
• Certificate of Completion of Specialty Training in Neurology recognized by DOH or as defined by DOH PQR.
• Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience post specialist qualification or as defined by DOH PQR.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Preferred:

• 5+ years of relevant clinical experience in Neurology.
• Prior experience in a tertiary or multidisciplinary healthcare setting in the UAE or internationally accredited institutions.
• Familiarity with the use of advanced neurodiagnostic tools and multidisciplinary patient management.
