Interprets referrals and conducts initial evaluations to identify and diagnose physiological, psychological, and cognitive issues.
Develops, delivers, and modifies treatment plans tailored to the individual’s physiological, cognitive, and psychological needs.
Performs ongoing risk assessments and adheres to safety measures during therapy sessions.
Implements strategies to promote client self-management and health education to enhance overall well-being.
Completes administrative tasks related to patient care, including documentation, billing, and insurance submissions, in compliance with policies.
Works with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care throughout the entire treatment process.
Participates in clinical handovers, inventory maintenance, marketing activities, and defines patient-centered goals, ensuring informed consent and understanding of treatment plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in occupational therapy in a large hospital.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
