Vision Industry is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager to lead the operation of a first-of-its-kind Eyewear Store. This flagship space will redefine the eyewear retail experience by blending eyecare, fashion, and craftsmanship in an innovative and immersive environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial drive, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable plans, driving sales, maintaining operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities Operation

  • Lead all pre-opening activities and ensure readiness of the store.
  • Manage daily store operations and address operational challenges promptly.
  • Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising meet brand standards.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, new product launches, and in-store events in collaboration with Head Office.
  • Oversee stock levels, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Handle all store maintenance and liaise with mall management and service providers.

Performance

  • Monitor and drive store KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Produce regular sales and performance reports for senior management.
  • Ensure financial accuracy and proper documentation of all store transactions.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service aligned with brand standards.
  • Address escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support sales team during peak hours and special events as needed.

Team Leadership

  • Communicate company strategy clearly and effectively to the team.
  • Lead by example to build a motivated, high-performing workforce.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and continuous development for all team members.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and performance-driven work culture.
  • Hold weekly team meetings to align goals and share updates.

Requirements

  • Qualified Optometrist with DHA license
  • Minimum 3 years store manager in a luxury optical store
  • Proven leadership with a track record in driving sales and team performance.
  • Experience in store pre-openings is a plus.
  • Resilient, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Arabic or European) are an advantage.
  • Passionate about fashion, trends, and lifestyle.
