Job Description:

The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient interactions from scheduling appointments to assisting with administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a keen ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Liaison: Greet and assist patients with their appointments, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments efficiently, ensuring accurate information is provided and schedule availability is maintained.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, addressing concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
  • Support: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional care delivery.
  • Billing and Payment: Assist patients with understanding their billing statements and payment procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a patient coordinator or similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on patient service.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with clinic management software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
