Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Radiographer/Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiography and ultrasound scans. The role requires technical expertise, attention to patient comfort, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate must be SCFHS-licensed and experienced in an outpatient or polyclinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency X-ray imaging as per physician orders
- Conduct ultrasound scans (general abdomen, pelvis, obstetric, thyroid, soft tissue, etc.) and generate clear, accurate images
- Ensure proper patient positioning and explanation of procedures for optimal imaging and comfort
- Operate and maintain radiology and ultrasound equipment according to safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to relay findings and assist in diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports in the EMR system
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols strictly
- Monitor equipment condition and coordinate with maintenance/service teams when needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional imaging spaces
- Ensure patient confidentiality and data protection at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology / Medical Imaging
- Valid SCFHS license as Radiographer or Ultrasound Technician
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a clinical/outpatient setting (KSA Experience mandatory)
- Skilled in ultrasound and X-ray procedures (both technical and patient-side communication)
- Knowledge of radiation safety, positioning techniques, and image quality assurance
- Proficiency in EMR/imaging software and report formatting
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English
