Conduct a qualified technical examination of the patient.
Assess and diagnose speech disorders, language disorders, communication disorders, and swallowing disorders.
Implement therapy sessions with patients with speech disorders, language disorders, communication disorders, and swallowing disorders.
Provide guidance and training to parents, teachers, and other caregivers on techniques and practices they can use at home to enhance communication and improve language skills.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Equip the clinic with the necessary equipment and standardized tests for evaluating and treating a variety of diagnoses and conditions.
Participate in marketing and community education functions as required.
Plan and implement educational activities during service to meet specific learning needs and implement performance improvement initiatives. Encourage participation in employee education activities and provide consultations to facility staff.
Requirements:
a bachelor’s degree in speech and language.
a minimum of 3 years of experience as a speech and language therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in differential diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to patients and colleagues.
Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient goals.
Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field.
Valid professional license or registration as a speech and language expert in Saudi Arabia.
