Job Description

The Physician Office Coordinator manages the daily operations of a doctor’s office. This role ensures smooth patient flow, maintains accurate medical records, and provides administrative support to the physician, enhancing patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures.
  • Maintain and update patient medical records and documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the physician, patients, and administrative staff.
  • Coordinate referrals, lab tests, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in managing office inventory and supplies.
  • Support the physician in administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practices.
