Since its inception in 2010, National Reference Laboratory (NRL) has expanded from a single standalone reference laboratory to a network of 12 state-of-the-art facilities across the United Arab Emirates. NRL provides world-class diagnostic services to the M42 network and partners with more than 250 clients from a wide range of market segments, including private and government hospitals, medical centers and clinics, corporate organizations, and other reference laboratories.

The Operations Officer plays a key role in supporting laboratory operations by ensuring accurate reporting, financial validation, and smooth coordination across functions. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity, improving operational efficiency, and supporting decision-making within a regulated healthcare environment. The position works closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure continuity and compliance in day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate referral laboratory invoices, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and validate monthly operational and billing reports
  • Monitor GRN activities in coordination with Supply Chain, ensuring timely resolution
  • Maintain and enhance operational dashboards and reports (Excel/Power BI)
  • Support monthly closing activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to management queries by providing data insights and analysis
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational and reporting issues
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Relevant experience in healthcare or laboratory operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Experience handling financial data, invoices, and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines
