Job Description
The Medical Sales Specialist (Outpatient Services) is a high-energy, results-driven role focused on accelerating patient volume and revenue across Baraya’s outpatient specialized rehabilitation clinics. This position is responsible for building a continuous pipeline of medical referrals by targeting private clinics, outpatient departments (OPDs) of major hospitals, orthopedic centers, and corporate wellness sectors. The specialist ensures that Baraya remains the top-of-mind choice for physicians whose patients require intensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and advanced technological rehab care.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- :Outpatient Referral Generation & Volume Growth: Drive daily and weekly referral volume for specialized outpatient tracks including orthopedic post-op, neurological rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, and sports injuries. Map and systematically engage high-potential referrers such as orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists, and physical medicine specialists. Ensure advanced clinic technology (e.g., robotic rehab, spinal decompression) runs at maximum operational capacity via strategic volume routing
- .Tactical Account & Territory Management: Manage a designated geographic territory, executing high-frequency daily visits to private clinics, polyclinics, and hospital OPDs. Promote targeted outpatient corporate packages, cash-paying options, and customized health-sector bundles to local organizations and executive networks. Organize clinical ‘in-service’ presentations, clinical demonstrations, and educational lunch-and-learns directly inside clinics to position Baraya’s unique clinical strengths
- .Insurance Alignment & Patient Journey Acceleration: Maintain a comprehensive, current understanding of private insurance networks, Council of Health Insurance (CHI) regulations, medical approvals, and insurance coverage classes within Saudi Arabia. Guide referring physicians transparently on patient access pathways. Act as an agile liaison between the external referring physician, the patient, and Baraya’s internal clinical/administrative desk to guarantee rapid appointment scheduling and eliminate conversion drop-offs
- .Market Data Tracking & Competitor Intelligence: Proactively monitor outpatient market pricing frameworks, competitive clinical offerings, and emerging rehabilitation trends within the private healthcare ecosystem. Maintain meticulous, real-time activity and pipeline data tracking within the CRM system, cleanly segmenting accounts into active, fading, or high-potential target groups
.Job Requirements & Qualification
- sEducation: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related clinical/scientific field. A clinical background in Physical Therapy is recognized as an extreme competitive advantage, allowing true peer-to-peer clinical conversations with specialist physicians regarding rehabilitation protocols
- .Professional Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven, rapid-cycle medical sales experience within Saudi Arabia. Ideal candidates must showcase a track record representing private polyclinics, specialized diagnostic centers, outpatient offerings, or high-turnover pharmaceutical product lines
- .Established Clinical Network: Possession of an existing, verifiable, and active referral network of local orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, or physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) consultants within the targeted territory is highly desirable
- .Sales Style & Profile: A distinct ‘Hunter’ mindset characterized by resilience, proactive self-starting, high-frequency call cycles, and short-term conversion pipeline management
- .Language Competency: Native fluency in Arabic and professional-level proficiency in English are strictly required to ensure effective navigation of diverse clinical environments and accurate evaluation of clinical referral files
- .Regulatory & Insurance Savvy: Demonstrated familiarity with Council of Health Insurance (CHI) guidelines, major private insurance policies/workflows (e.g., Bupa, Tawuniya, Medgulf), and the technical approval mechanisms required for outpatient physical and occupational therapy sessions
