About the Role:
Al Salama Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiologist to join our ENT team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered, evidence-based audiology services while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, ethics, and professionalism. This role is suited for individuals committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, ethical, and high-quality audiology services.
- Perform audiological assessments, diagnosis, and management of hearing and balance disorders.
- Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with clinical best practices.
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate clinical risks associated with patient care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality standards, and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate, clear, and complete patient records in the electronic medical system.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training initiatives.
- Support education and knowledge-sharing with junior staff and colleagues.
- Uphold integrity and professionalism in all interactions with patients and team members.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Experience
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in Audiology clinical practice.
Desired Experience
- At least 1 year of experience at Audiology Specialist level (as recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties – SCFHS).
Essential Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or Speech & Hearing Sciences.
- Valid professional classification and registration with SCFHS.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Desired Education
- Specialty-specific certifications or advanced training in audiology.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Knowledge of clinical audit standards and quality processes.
- Ability to support training of students and junior colleagues.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Strong patient-centered approach and ethical practice.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change, and manage professional relationships.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to perform under pressure.
