MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide comprehensive biomedical technical support to the business unit, including preventative maintenance and repairs on medical equipment

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform scheduled maintenance and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions

Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including end user training

Repair and replace biomedical equipment and systems

Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and act as first level support for biomedical queries

Required Education

A relevant associate degree in biomedical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution

Required Experience

At least 2 years’ experience in the installation, repair, maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting
