Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital is seeking a dedicated Specialist Cardiologist to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The role involves providing comprehensive cardiology services across inpatient and outpatient settings, managing acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, and supporting the delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based cardiac care within a consultant‑led environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions in adult patients.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations, follow‑up care, and treatment planning.
  • Interpret and report diagnostic investigations such as ECGs, echocardiography, and ambulatory monitoring, within scope of practice.
  • Support acute cardiac care in collaboration with emergency, ICU, and internal medicine teams.
  • Participate in on‑call duties in line with service requirements.
  • Work closely with consultant cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice.

Qualifications

  • Board‑certified Specialist Cardiologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Solid experience in managing both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work within a consultant‑led service model.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eligibility for DOH Specialist licensure.
