The role is responsible to oversee activities aimed at reducing variability in clinical practice and assists with the development and standardization of clinical pathways, protocols, and clinical practice guidelines across M42 facilities. The role leads clinical audit activities by facilitating system‑wide improvement in the overall quality, completeness, and accuracy of the medical record documentation through extensive audit, data analysis, dissemination of audit findings or reports, and education within all clinical service lines.

The role further ensures rigorous Jawda data validation, including oversight of data quality processes, verification of Jawda indicators, monitoring data accuracy and completeness submitted to external regulatory bodies, and coordination with facility teams to address discrepancies or non‑conformities. This includes implementing standardized validation procedures, supporting facilities in resolving data quality issues, and ensuring full compliance with Jawda reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Clinical Audit & Practice Standardization

  • Lead and coordinate clinical audit activities aligned with Joint Commission International standards.
  • Assess compliance with approved clinical pathways, protocols, and clinical practice guidelines, identifying unwarranted variation, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development, review, and standardization of clinical pathways, protocols, and guidelines informed by audit findings and evidence-based practice.
  • Ensure audit methodologies and outputs support clinical governance, accreditation readiness, and continuous improvement.

JAWDA Oversight, Performance Monitoring & Regulatory Submissions

Conduct detailed JAWDA case reviews to ensure:

  • Accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
  • Alignment with Department of Health definitions and submission requirements
  • Prepare and submit quarterly JAWDA data in accordance with Department of Health timelines and validation standards.
  • Provide monthly JAWDA and audit performance feedback to facility leadership and clinical stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement priorities.
  • Support responses to internal and external validation queries related to JAWDA submissions and audit findings.

Qualifications

Education & Clinical Background

  • Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse, or other relevant clinical professional
  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical practice as a physician, nurse, case manager, or equivalent clinical role

Experience

Minimum two (2) years of experience in:

  • Clinical audit activities
  • Jawda Data Validation
  • Guideline, protocol, or clinical pathway development
  • Review of clinical documentation and compliance with evidence-based practice
  • Demonstrated experience completing clinical audits with structured analysis and feedback
