Consultant Allergist – Abu Dhabi

We are currently searching for a dedicated and experienced Consultant Allergist to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The aim of this role is to provide industry-leading allergy consultation services, including patient evaluation, advice, treatment, and monitoring. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong knowledge of immunology and be able to manage a diverse variety of patients, from pediatric to geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Clearly assess, diagnose, and treat an assortment of allergies, immune disorders, and skin conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Administer treatments including immunotherapy, allergy testing, and prescribe preventative measures or medication when appropriate.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all ethical obligations in line with standard medical practice to ensure the privacy and respect of each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patient care effectively and efficiently and provide refer to specialized services when required.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in immunology and allergy treatment in order to enhance patient care.

Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role would be a qualified MD with specialization in Allergology or a relevant field. They should have a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• M.D. degree with specialization in Allergology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-residency, fellowship, or other specialist training.
• License to practice healthcare in the UAE and any other necessary certifications.
• Strong evidence of clinical effectiveness, including surgical outcomes and audit data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to patients and their families.
