Position Overview

The Maternal & Fetal Medicine Specialist / Consultant Physician works in a highly specialised and busy Fetal Medicine Unit, delivering advanced fetal diagnostic and therapeutic services within a multidisciplinary, patient-centred environment. This role is exclusively focused on Maternal & Fetal Medicine and does not involve routine Obstetric practice.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Advanced fetal assessment and management of high-risk pregnancies

🔹 Perform specialised fetal medicine procedures including fetal ultrasound, anomaly scans, invasive diagnostic procedures, and fetal surveillance

🔹 Management of complex maternal-fetal conditions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

🔹 Participation in fetal medicine counselling and patient education

🔹 Ensure evidence-based clinical practice aligned with international fetal medicine standards

🔹 Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

🔹 Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-focused care within a diverse patient population

Qualifications & Experience

✅ Doctorate/Master’s in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with Fellowship / DM / FNB in Fetal Medicine or Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

✅ Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualified candidates preferred

✅ Strong procedure logbook in Maternal & Fetal Medicine

Benefits

• Salary: AED 70,000 – 90,000 (based on experience)
