Role Summary:

The Neurosurgery Consultant will provide specialized surgical and clinical care for patients with disorders affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. The consultant will lead the neurosurgical team, deliver high-quality care in line with international standards, and contribute to the continuous development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Diagnose and manage neurosurgical conditions including trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, degenerative diseases, and congenital abnormalities.
•  Perform complex neurosurgical procedures using advanced techniques and technologies.
• Provide outpatient consultations, inpatient care, and surgical services.
•  Lead and supervise junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff in the neurosurgery unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neurology, radiology, oncology, rehabilitation, ICU) to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement programs, and clinical audits.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with latest advancements in neurosurgery and contribute to teaching and training activities within the hospital.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Medical degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) with recognized specialty training in Neurosurgery.

·        Board certification (e.g., Arab Board, American Board, FRCS, or equivalent).

·        Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialization experience, with proven practice as a Consultant.

·        Experience in the private healthcare sector is strongly preferred.

·        Excellent surgical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.

·        Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.

Requirements:

·        Board-certified in Neurosurgery or Neurology.

·        Proven experience working as a Consultant in the private healthcare sector.

·        Strong clinical expertise, with commitment to patient-centered care.
