Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Consultant Gastroenterologist role based in Riyadh. The Consultant Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, performing endoscopic procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role also involves supervising junior medical staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to clinical governance, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives. The Consultant Gastroenterologist will maintain accurate medical records, ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards, and participate in patient and family education.
Qualifications

• Advanced clinical expertise in Gastroenterology and Medicine, with a strong record of managing a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy, including upper and lower GI procedures, with a commitment to safe, high-quality practice.
• Specialized knowledge in Hepatology for the evaluation and treatment of liver diseases, including chronic and complex cases.
• Experience with Capsule Endoscopy for small bowel evaluation and interpretation of findings.
• Recognized medical degree and completion of accredited specialist training in Gastroenterology (board certification or equivalent).
• Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in the relevant jurisdiction (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, patient-centered environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, teaching, and participation in research or audit activities.
