Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Follow DHA regulations and infection control protocols
• Manage medical supplies and maintain stock levels
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Set up surgical trays and maintain a sterile field.
• Verify patient identity, medical history, allergies, and consent.
• Record baseline vital signs.
• Provide pre-operative instructions and reassure patients.
• Ensure availability of emergency equipment and medications.
• Assist the dentist/oral surgeon during procedures such as:
• Surgical extractions
• Wisdom tooth removal
• Dental implants
• Incision and drainage
• Suturing procedures
• Maintain strict aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments efficiently and maintain clear surgical field.
• Monitor patient’s condition and comfort.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
• Handle suctioning and irrigation during procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid DHA License OR DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Dental experience preferred)
• Good communication skills in English
• Professional, organized, and patient-focused
• Tagalog Speaker is a plus.
