Job Description
Polyclinic.ae – a multidisciplinary clinic opened in November 2023 in Dubai, in the Jumeirah area. The clinic has all the necessary modern equipment for diagnosis and treatment; a team of doctors from all major specialties of dentistry and general medicine is fully prepared to provide expert medical care to families in different languages.
Most doctors and staff speak Russian, English, and other languages, and use both Russian and international protocols in their work.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Department – General Dentistry to lead our dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dental care, DHA privileges in implantology and veneers, proven leadership and management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and professional development within the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Medical degree in Dentistry.
- DHA license/eligibility to practice in Dubai is mandatory.
- Fluency in Russian (native or near-native) is required for patient communication and staff coordination.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in implantology, veneers, and restorative dentistry.
- DHA privileges in implantology and veneers.
- Strong management, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to lead a team and delegate effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex procedures clearly to patients and staff.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional growth.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Dentistry Department, including restorative, implantology, and aesthetic divisions.
- Supervise and mentor dental staff, ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient safety.
- Develop and implement departmental protocols, workflows, and quality assurance programs.
- Oversee complex restorative and aesthetic cases, including implants, veneers, crowns, and bridges.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans and optimize collaboration between specialists.
- Ensure patients receive detailed explanations of treatment options and expected outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with DHA guidelines and best practices in clinical hygiene and safety.
- Drive continuous professional development and training within the department.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and report to clinic management.
