Role Description

The Assistant Director of Nursing is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The position involves overseeing nursing staff and daily operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assisting in managing departmental activities, implementing infection control measures, ensuring compliance with medical guidelines, improving patient care standards, and supervising long-term care services. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize care plans is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Nursing Management and the ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Infection Control measures and protocols.
  • Professional understanding and application of Medicine and Nursing practices, ensuring quality patient care.
  • Experience with Long-term Care services, focusing on patient-centered approaches and ongoing improvement.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills to manage teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
  • Recognized nursing qualification and registration, along with significant experience in a clinical or healthcare management role.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations, and the ability to ensure compliance within a healthcare environment.
