Within its network, Danat Al Emarat Hospital provides specialized care for women and children with a focus on patient-centered services and clinical excellence.

The HIMS Administrator manages patient electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accuracy, compliance with JCI and DOH standards, and timely access to information for patients and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage patient EMRs, ensuring proper documentation and consents.
• Release medical reports and radiology images to patients in-person and via email.
• Upload urgent clinical records, surgical consents, and daily outpatient reports.
• Audit physician documentation for accuracy, completeness, and turnaround time.
• Handle urgent patient requests and educate physicians on documentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and health & safety standards.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Health Information Management.
• Knowledge of JCI and DOH standards.
