We are looking for an exceptional physician-leader to join our Executive Committee as Medical Director, a role with full clinical and P&L accountability, reporting directly to the Board.

DISC (Diversified Integrated Sports Clinic) is a premium healthcare network operating across the UAE. We bring together sports medicine, family medicine, physiotherapy, CAM, nutrition, psychology, nursing, and imaging (X-Ray, Dexa, UTZ) under one clinical identity delivered across multiple sites to a growing patient base.

Role Overview

The Medical Director is the senior clinical authority at DISC, responsible for unifying clinical governance, clinical service delivery, and clinical performance into a single accountable leadership role.

You will sit on the Executive Committee, report directly to the Board, and lead a multidisciplinary clinical team across all UAE sites supported by dedicated Clinical Leads at each location and a Clinical Operations Coordinator to manage all administrative load.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L accountability across all UAE clinical entities

• Drive clinic utilization and HCP productivity

• Monitor financial and operational KPIs; lead recovery of underperforming services

• Oversee clinical governance, protocols, and regulatory compliance

• Manage HCP credentialing, licensing, and performance lifecycle

• Lead clinical committees, patient safety, and risk management

• Ensure quality assurance, audit readiness, and accreditation compliance (Jawda, ADHICS)

• Drive service line development, clinical innovation, and expansion

• Report to the Executive Committee and Board on performance, risks, and strategy

Essential:

• Medical Degree (MBBS / MD or equivalent)

• Postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine, PM&R, MSK, or related specialty

• Valid DHA, DOH, or DHCC license — or eligibility for fast-track registration

• 12+ years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in senior clinical leadership

• Proven P&L ownership at department, clinic, or entity level

• Multi-site healthcare operations experience in the GCC

• Deep knowledge of UAE regulatory framework: DHA, DOH, DHCC

Advantage:

• Imaging centre or diagnostics experience

• Background in integrative or premium wellness healthcare

• Arabic language proficiency
