Job Description This role leads SEHA’s charity and public relations strategy by managing donor relationships, building new partnerships across government and public sectors, and ensuring charity initiatives align with patient and organizational needs. It oversees the planning, execution, and performance evaluation of charity programs and public engagement activities while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and reporting. The role also supports communications to enhance SEHA’s reputation and drives initiatives that strengthen the overall impact of charity and partnership programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end ‑ to ‑ end relationships with existing donors and philanthropic partners
  • Maintain structured engagement plans to strengthen donor retention and contribution levels
  • Handle sensitive donor and financial information with strict confidentiality
  • Lead SEHA’s overall charity and public relations strategy to support patient access and community engagement
  • Align initiatives with clinical, finance, and operations teams to support organizational priorities
  • Support communication plans that enhance SEHA’s reputation with public and government stakeholders
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnerships with government bodies and public sector organizations
  • Build structured outreach strategies to attract new donors and expand funding source
  • Drive initiatives that increase financial contributions and long ‑ term strategic value
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement charity campaigns and community outreach initiatives
  • Ensure all activities are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with patient and organizational needs
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with internal teams
  • Track key metrics including funds raised, partnership outcomes, and patient impact
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of charity initiatives and recommend improvements
  • Maintain strong governance and documentation across all charity-related activities
  • Ensure compliance with SEHA policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
  • Oversee proper approvals, record ‑ keeping, and audit ‑ ready documentation

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar industry with minimum of 5 years in managerial role
  • Proficiency in English language
  • MS Office and computer proficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet goals and deadlines

Good communication skills

Desired

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline
  • Experience in a large healthcare facility
  • Proficiency in Arabic Language
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously (multitask) and move them all towards resolution
