Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic advice to the Chief Communications Officer and to ensure the delivery of high quality, integrated marketing and communications services to HMC and its facilities. This includes marketing, market research, brand management, design, production, creative services, community engagement, events, and digital communications. The role provides guidance and leadership to the marketing team, subordinates, peers and internal clients, and leads a team dedicated to protecting and enhancing the reputation of the organization, acting as a responsible steward of the HMC brand.

For this specific role, our primary focus is on strengthening HMC’s media, digital media, and communications content capabilities within the Corporate Communications Department.

Another key requirement for this position is the ability to represent Hamad Medical Corporation as an official media spokesperson when needed. The individual must be able to engage professionally with media outlets and digital platforms to enhance the organization’s visibility and public messaging. The Executive Director for Marketing is expected to play a vital role in strengthening HMC’s media presence, improving digital communication channels, and ensuring our services and achievements are effectively communicated to both local and international audiences.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, OR Marketing OR Communications OR Media OR Public Relations plus Master’s Degree

Experience

12 years’ experience in Marketing out of which 5 years in Leadership capacity
