  • JOB SCOPE

The Quality Manager will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the healthcare facility’s quality and patient safety program through rehabilitation and long-term care services. Responsibilities include establishing, maintaining, and auditing quality metrics, clinical governance frameworks, and standardized care processes; ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and internal policies; coordinating root cause analysis and corrective actions for deviations; overseeing incident reporting, patient safety initiatives, and infection prevention programs; managing data analytics to identify trends and drive evidence-based improvements; coordinating internal and external audits, risk assessments, and performance improvement initiatives. The role will supervise quality staff, provide training and mentorship to clinical teams, and collaborate with medical directors, nursing leadership, and operations to align quality goals with strategic objectives. Strong communication, change management, and leadership skills are essential to sustain a culture of safety and excellence.

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Educations and Certificates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, or regulatory compliance, with at least 2 years in rehabilitation or long-term care settings.
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives, audits, and accreditation activities (e.g., CBAHI/JSI,, or regional equivalents).
  • SKILLS AND PORFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE
  • deep knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (PDSA, Six Sigma, Lean), risk management, and clinical governance.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety program development.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, performance reporting, and using quality management software (e.g., QMS, incident reporting systems, EHR-integrated quality tools).
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Change management capability and ability to train and mentor clinical teams.
  • LANGUAGE
  • Proficiency in written, read and spoken Arabic and English languages.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align quality goals with organizational strategy.
  • Oversee incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and maintain key quality metrics and dashboards; regularly report to executive leadership.
  • Conduct internal audits, surveys, and regulatory readiness activities; coordinate external accreditation processes.
  • Lead root cause analyses for adverse events and near-misses; develop and track corrective actions.
  • Oversee infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical risk management programs.
  • Provide education and training on quality standards, policies, and best practices to clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Manage quality staff, allocate resources, and supervise performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary teams to sustain standardized care pathways and protocols.
  • Advise on policy development related to quality and safety.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
