Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Learning & Development Specialist – UAEN to support and enhance staff training, professional growth, and organizational development initiatives across the organization. The role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing training and people development programs for both clinical and non-clinical staff, while promoting a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement within the hospitals.
Key Responsibilities ✅
Training & Development
- Design, develop, and implement training programs aligned with organizational and departmental needs.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and orientation programs for new and existing employees.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new joiners across both facilities.
- Develop training materials including presentations, workshops, and learning resources.
People Development
- Support employee development initiatives including career development plans and succession planning.
- Work with department heads to identify high-potential employees and support leadership development programs.
- Assist in implementing talent development and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support performance management processes, including identifying training needs based on performance evaluations.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.
Learning Needs Analysis
- Conduct training needs assessments across departments to identify skills gaps.
- Develop and monitor individual development plans (IDPs) for employees.
- Ensure training programs support organizational goals and healthcare standards.
Program Coordination & Monitoring
- Maintain training records and track staff participation and compliance with mandatory training.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports related to training activities, learning outcomes, and staff development.
Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, clinical leadership, and department managers to support workforce development initiatives.
- Assist in organizing internal workshops, seminars, and professional development events.
Qualifications & Experience 🎓
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, People Development, or HR Development.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is considered an advantage.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple training initiatives and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Lippincott & Litmos) and HR development tools is preferred.
