🕒Shift Type: Rotational shifts, rotational days off, including overnight shifts

Job Summary:

The Senior Approvals Doctor is responsible for leading and supporting the approvals team by reviewing complex medical cases, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and maintaining high-quality service standards. This role involves close coordination with internal departments and healthcare providers to validate treatment plans, in addition to contributing to audits, process improvements, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1-Supervise junior approval officers and provide guidance on complex cases.

2-Ensure adherence to internal protocols and service-level agreements.

3-Liaise with internal departements, and healthcare providers to clarify treatment plans.

4-Participate in audits and contribute to policy updates and process improvements.

5-Schedule and optimizing work force according to tasks & skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or MBBCh or a related medical field.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and healthcare regulations.

Skills Required:

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using medical and insurance software systems.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
