Description

Job Description

  • Conducting semen analyses and sample preparation for advanced testing.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as urologists and endocrinologists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing .
  • approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in men’s reproductive health.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Conduct physical examinations of patients to assess their health and diagnose disorders.
  • Interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as semen analysis, hormonal assays and imaging studies.
  • Receives and perform proficiency testing in a timely accurate manner its processing, reporting, analyzing of evaluation reports, doing and documenting necessary corrective action.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as urologists, endocrinologists, and fertility specialists, to ensure optimal patient care
  • Document patient history and treatment plans in medical records
  • Follows the standards of any national and international accreditation process related to the laboratory either in general or specific for the laboratory.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment approaches in the field of andrology.
  • Reports any incident by OVR system and follow the chain of command.
  • Identifies and communicates critical results by following strictly the established processes and procedure stated in policy.

Requirements

  • :A strong foundational knowledge of male reproductive health, including diseases and conditions that affect the male reproductive system
  • .Proficiency in diagnostic procedures related to male infertility, erectile dysfunction, and other disorders related to the male reproductive system
  • .Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to discuss sensitive and potentially embarrassing topics with patients and their partners, providing reassurance and clear explanations of complex medical issues
  • .Problem-solving abilities to determine the cause of a patient’s symptoms and decide on the best course of treatment
  • .A good understanding of laboratory procedures and the ability to interpret laboratory results related to male reproductive health
  • .Experience in performing surgical procedures related to the male reproductive system, such as vasectomy or varicocele repair
  • .Awareness and sensitivity to the emotional impact of male fertility issues on patients and their partners, and the ability to provide support and counseling in these situations
  • .A commitment to ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment approaches in the field of andrology
