Medical Representative – Pharma (Oman) – Oman National PreferredJob Summary: Medical Representative (Pharma – Oman)

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is seeking a results-driven Medical Representative to join our Pharmaceutical division in Oman. This role is centered on driving the commercial success of our OTC portfolio by managing relationships with retail pharmacies and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate is a Pharmacist with a strategic mindset, responsible for achieving sales targets through scientific detailing, meticulous stock management, and high-impact merchandising. You will act as the face of AKI, ensuring our products are both visible and preferred across the Omani market. Omani Nationals will have an advantage.

• Promote and sell OTC products to Oman retail pharmacies.
• Conduct scientific detailing & round table discussions steps/ actions to concerned stakeholders including targeted Dr’s.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Conduct regular visits to customers and ensure strong product presence.
• Maintain product visibility through merchandising, shelf arrangement, and promotional displays.
• Ensure proper stock availability and follow up on orders and deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists, store managers, and purchasing teams.
• Provide product training and information to pharmacy staff when required.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
• Submit daily/weekly sales reports and visit plans to the Sales Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.
• Support & execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.

Requirements:

Medical Representative experience preferred.

Local 2 previous years Omani market preferable.

Graduate of Bachelors in Pharmacy preferred
