We are currently seeking to hire a professional caliber as OTC Sales Manager to take the lead of Sales Teams as per the following details:

Location: Sheraton Heliopolis

Reporting: OTC Sales Manager

Grade: sM01/sM03

Job Purpose:

Successfully manage a designated sales teams towards profit by maximizing the sales and margin revenue, through the management of the sales & marketing teams. Sets, evaluates and achieves sales objectives and marketing strategies according to Incandesce’s overall objectives and policies

Job Description:

A.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead of sourcing the newly formed OTC business to ensure team is well structured against the panned HC with capable members to deliver expected results
  • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for the team to ensure full alignment and collaboration of the team towards meaningful collaboration
  • Effectively build sustainable relationships across the business and KOLs
  • Lead, develop and coach different team members to ensure sharpening the saw and building unmatched capabilities
  • Hire, train, mentor, and motivate sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement regional or national sales strategies, including go-to-market plans for new product launches and portfolio management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, pharmacy chains, and distributors
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, KPIs, and market trends to provide actionable insights for growth
  • Operational Management: Prepare sales forecasts, manage budgets, and oversee inventory management for pharmacies.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to develop trade promotions, in-shop branding, and product initiatives

B. Job Requirements:

  • OTC Experience at sound organizations is essential
  • At least 8 years of successful, in-depth sales experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on establishing new business and launching of new products
  • Relevant Sales experience as a National Sales Manager
  • Proven dual Sales management capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize activities, to make difficult decisions to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the business

C. Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the Brand and the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment
  • Understanding of external stakeholder environment and market access issues
  • In depth insights into key customer groups

D. Education Requirements:

A degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or Vet Medicine (life-Science Degree) , plus degree level or equivalent in a business related subject. Marketing qualification would be beneficial ( e.g. CIM, MBA, etc)

E. Competencies and Behaviors:

  • Indisputable leadership capabilities
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Track record of achievements in previous roles with unmatched sense of accountability and business commitments
  • Ability to foresee upcoming challenges or obstacles and proactively set measures to minimize possible impact on running business
  • Business development experience is a definite plus
