‎We are looking for a sharp and reliable Medical Transcriptionist to support our clinical team at Reem Hospital. In this role, you’ll sit with the doctor during patient consultations and transcribe medical notes in real-time into our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Your role is key in reducing documentation time for doctors and ensuring accuracy in patient records. This role requires someone who’s sharp, discreet, and already familiar with the UAE healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sit with the physician during consultations and transcribe medical notes on the spot
• Ensure accurate documentation of diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
• Use EMR systems to enter clinical notes and update patient files
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all hospital documentation policies
• Follow up with doctors to clarify any unclear or incomplete dictations
• Support in administrative duties related to patient documentation when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a medical transcriptionist or clinical documentation specialist
• Strong knowledge of medical terms, procedures, and documentation standards
• Excellent typing speed (minimum 50 WPM) and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• Professional conduct, with the ability to work discreetly during live consultations
• Strong command of written and spoken English

Preferred:

• Certification in Medical Transcription or Clinical Documentation
• Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient clinic environment
