This role is responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of individualized nursing care to patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times in alignment with DOH/DHA and organization policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative care, including pre‑operative preparation and post‑operative support. Assist surgeons intraoperatively, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and surgical safety protocols. Prepare, check, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status throughout surgical procedures. Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and update the EMR (electronic medical record) as required. Coordinate effectively with anesthesiology, surgical teams, and support staff to ensure smooth workflows. Participate in maintaining infection control standards and reinforcing patient safety initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent. Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license or DOH eligibility. Minimum 2 years of Operating Theatre experience preferred. BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS is an advantage.
