SCHOOL NURSE – ABU DHABI, UAE

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Nurse based in Abu Dhabi. The School Nurse will be responsible for overseeing and managing the health and wellbeing of students and school staff within the school environment. Responsibilities include providing first aid and emergency medical care, monitoring student health conditions, administering prescribed medications, developing individualized health care plans, conducting routine health screenings, and ensuring compliance with school health policies and UAE health regulations.

The role also involves promoting health awareness by educating students and staff on wellness practices to support a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in school nursing or school health practices

• Strong clinical nursing knowledge and general medical expertise

• Understanding of pediatric healthcare and child wellness

• Ability to assess and respond effectively to medical emergencies

• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or Eligibility (required)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with school staff, students, and parents

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

• Experience in health education and wellness promotion is an advantage

Preference will be given to Filipino applicants currently based in the UAE.
