Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Nurse role based in Riyadh. The Pediatric Nurse will provide direct nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Daily responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments, assisting with procedures, and responding to changes in patients’ conditions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role involves educating patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and home care, while offering emotional support and clear communication. The Pediatric Nurse will also maintain accurate medical records, follow infection control and safety protocols, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Qualifications

  • Strong clinical foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices in acute and routine pediatric settings.
  • Specialized skills in Pediatric Nursing and Pediatrics, including age-specific assessments, growth and development monitoring, and child- and family-centered care.
  • Experience or competency in Critical Care Nursing for pediatrics, including stabilization, monitoring, and management of critically ill children.
  • Current nursing license/registration valid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain it; pediatric or critical care certification is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams, with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and culturally sensitive care, with the ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Relevant nursing degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent); prior experience in a pediatric hospital or clinic setting in Riyadh or similar environments is highly desirable.
