General Practitioner(With Assisting Surgery Experience)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner (with assisting surgery experience) role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care consultations, perform patient assessments, take medical histories, and manage acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The role includes assisting surgeons during cosmetic and related surgical procedures, supporting pre-operative preparation, intra-operative assistance, and post-operative monitoring and follow-up. The General Practitioner will order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records. The role also involves educating patients on treatment plans and preventive care, adhering to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements, and participating in continuous professional development and clinical quality improvement activities.
Qualifications

Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is an asset.

Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing a broad range of patient presentations in an outpatient or hospital setting.

Background or exposure in Family Medicine, with a holistic approach to patient care across different age groups.

Experience collaborating with Nursing teams to coordinate patient care, including pre- and post-operative support.

Demonstrated experience assisting in surgery, preferably in cosmetic or related surgical specialties, with knowledge of surgical protocols and sterile techniques.

Commitment to Training and continuous professional development, including participation in clinical education, case discussions, and skills updates.

Recognized medical degree and valid license or eligibility for licensure to practice as a General Practitioner in the United Arab Emirates (e.g., DHA/DOH/MOH requirements).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered, culturally sensitive approach and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard surgical environment.

Previous experience in cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, or a specialized surgical center is an advantage.
