Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Scrub Nurse – OT role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Scrub Nurse will prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment in accordance with procedure requirements and infection control standards. The role involves assisting surgeons during cosmetic and related surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field, handling instruments, and anticipating surgical needs. The Scrub Nurse will collaborate closely with the surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and smooth workflow before, during, and after surgery. Daily responsibilities include pre-operative checks, participating in time-out procedures, monitoring stock and supplies, adhering to hospital protocols, and supporting post-operative transfer and handover of patients.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice in a surgical setting.
• Proficiency in Surgery and Operating Room practices, including sterile techniques, instrument handling, and intraoperative patient safety.
• Experience or familiarity with Orthopedic Surgery and other specialized surgical procedures is an advantage.
• Valid DHA license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience as a Scrub Nurse in OT, preferably in cosmetic, plastic, or surgical specialties is must.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
