Will work as part of the nursing and multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence based holistic care to patients of Kings College Hospital (KCH) Dubai throughout the patient’s pathway of care. She/he will record patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being as in patient Registered Nurse who will assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients at King’s College Hospital (KCH).
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure patients and their relatives are updated regularly with accurate information, presented in a sensitive and understandable way.
  • Work flexibly across the organization as required to maintain safe staffing levels or as part of personal development identified in appraisals.
  • Liaise and coordinate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Follow all patient safety, quality, infection control and risk-management procedures; report safety events and near misses; participate in workplace violence-prevention training; and escalate concerns using approved communication tools such as Situation–Background–Assessment–Recommendation (SBAR).
  • Participate in emergency drills (fire, Code Blue, major incidents, communicable diseases and pandemics) and understand assigned roles during emergencies.
  • Maintain ethical behavior, professionalism, integrity and respectful interactions with patients, families and colleagues.
  • Participate in audits, quality-improvement activities and performance reviews to support continuous organizational improvement.
  • Follow all relevant hospital policies, procedures and JCIA-related standards applicable to the role.

Qualifications

  • UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Degree in Nursing (minimum two years course duration) or Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
  • Has worked in hospital or similar setting for at least 2 years.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and stakeholders.
