Job Purpose

The Occupational Medicine Specialist acts as the primary lead for the occupationalmedical team, as well as providing clinical oversight and supervision. Ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, and providing final approval on employee fitnessassessments for pre-employment, periodic, or exceptional testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to the medical staff conducting occupational health exams.
• Serve as the primary point of consultation for complex or borderline cases.
• Issue final fitness determinations (Fit / Fit with restrictions / Unfit) for employees.
• Ensure all occupational health assessments comply with Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) regulations and SCFHS standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of all client employee health records.

Qualifications and Experience

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) (mandatory).
• Specialty classification in Occupational Medicine by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in occupational medicine, pre-employment medicals, or corporate health services.
• Strong understanding of Saudi occupational fitness regulations and risk-based assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to consult with multidisciplinary staff.
• Experience working with corporate clients and insurance-based models is a plus.
• Proficiency in English & Arabic
