Duties And Responsibilities:

Assess patient for:

– Measurement of visual acuity.

– Refraction (cyclo refraction, subjective refraction, auto refraction).

– IOL calculation by different type.

– Prelasik check up and all examination before surgery.

– Corneal topography

– Wave scan.

– Pachometry

– Visual field

– Measurement of IOP.

– Using OCT machine.

– Performs other duties as assigned by the department head.

– Provide personalized coordinated care, support and treatment for patients and families.

– Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.

– Involve patients, families and caregivers by providing them with education and resources for offering optimal support to promote recovery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Optometry

Professional Experience:

Two years experience as optometrist.

Specialized Skills:

– Knowledge of Arabic and English.

– Computer literate.

Competence:

hard contact lens fitting, operating excimer laser machine and manual cycloplegic refraction for children.
