Job Summary

Pegasus Pharmacy L.L.C. is seeking a DHA-licensed Pharmacist with UAE experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in retail pharmacy operations and health insurance claim management, including final claim submissions, reconciliation, resubmissions, and rejection handling. The role requires a professional who can effectively balance patient care, dispensing responsibilities, and insurance processes while ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities-

Pharmacy Responsibilities
Review and accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with DHA regulations and company policies.
Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory management of pharmaceutical products.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as required.
Ensure compliance with all applicable DHA regulations, pharmacy standards, and company procedures.
Deliver excellent customer service and support overall pharmacy operations.
Insurance Responsibilities
Process and submit insurance claims accurately and within required timelines.
Handle insurance approvals, claim resubmissions, claim corrections, reconciliation, and final submissions.
Review prescriptions and claims to ensure compliance with insurance payer requirements.
Analyze and resolve claim rejections and payment discrepancies.
Coordinate with insurance providers regarding claim status and reimbursement issues.
Maintain proper documentation and records related to insurance transactions.
Work closely with operations and accounts teams to optimize claim acceptance and revenue collection.
Stay updated on UAE insurance regulations and payer policies.

Requirements-

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
Valid DHA Pharmacist License (Mandatory).
Minimum 2 years of UAE pharmacy experience.
Mandatory experience in insurance claim submissions and final submissions.
Strong knowledge of UAE insurance processes and pharmacy operations.
Experience handling claim rejections, reconciliations, and resubmissions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Working Hours & Benefits-

Duty Hours: 10 hours per day.
Shift Timings: As per duty rota/schedule.
Weekly Off: 1 day per week as per duty rota.
