Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated ICU Registrar to join our critical care team. In this role, you will actively participate in the management of critically ill patients, ensuring high‑quality medical care through continuous monitoring, timely interventions, and effective collaboration with senior physicians. Main Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Deliver primary medical care for ICU patients.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic critical conditions.
  • Perform routine clinical assessments and examinations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as required.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide urgent medical interventions.

Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain precise and comprehensive patient records.
  • Document all clinical activities including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Provide understandable explanations of conditions, procedures, and treatment options.

Teamwork & Professionalism

  • Collaborate effectively with consultants, residents, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in medical rounds, case discussions, and team meetings.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.
  • Represent the hospital positively in all professional interactions.

Continuous Development

  • Stay updated with medical guidelines, research, and best practices.
  • Engage in ongoing medical education and professional development programs.
  • Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant specialty.
  • Membership/Fellowship in a Royal College (or equivalent), meeting registrar criteria.
  • Valid certificate fully recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Dataflow verification is mandatory.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification specialized experience in ICU within a reputable hospital or recognized medical center
