Teaching Assistant – Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Programs

And Masters in Public Health and in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health. There are opportunities for multidisciplinary inter-college collaborative research across ADU, and inter-institutional research collaborations in the Abu Dhabi area and U.A.E.

Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences is seeking an Assistant Professor in Medical Laboratory Sciences. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and research within the field. Candidates should have a PhD or Masrers in a relevant discipline relevant teaching experience, and a strong research background.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Clinical Psychology Laboratory Sciences.
• Support students during practical exercises, demonstrations, and simulations in the Clinical Psychology lab.
• Provide guidance on the use of assessment tools, psychological testing materials, and laboratory equipment.
• Developing and updating course materials and syllabi.
• Supervising student research projects.
• Contributing to the development and delivery of the college’s programs
• Engaging in research and scholarly activities.
• Participating in administrative duties within the department and college.
  

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field (Bachelor’s degree may be considered with relevant experience).
• Prior experience in teaching assistance, tutoring, or lab-based instruction in psychology is preferred.
• Familiarity with psychological assessment tools and basic laboratory practices in Clinical Psychology.
• Experience with curriculum development and student supervision.
