Job Description We are looking for an experienced Radiographer with advanced MRI and CT skills and at least 5 years of experience to join our Radiology team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out MRI, CT, and other radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to understand their needs and prepare them for imaging procedures
• Position patients correctly and set up equipment for MRI, CT and radiology scans
• Perform a variety of imaging examinations and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Support and reassure patients during procedures, including anxious or unwell patients
• Follow radiation safety rules to protect patients and staff
• Follow infection control and emergency procedures, including handling contrast reactions
• Check and maintain image quality and make adjustments when needed
• Record patient and imaging details accurately and on time
• Work closely with radiologists and senior staff in complex cases
• Help patients understand procedures and answer their questions
• Ensure radiology equipment is working properly and report faults when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Valid professional license (as applicable in UAE: MOH/DHA/DOH or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Radiography
• Advanced hands-on experience in MRI and CT imaging (mandatory)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in MRI and CT scanning protocols and procedures
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images with accuracy
• Excellent patient care, communication, and reassurance skills
• Good understanding of radiation safety and infection control standards
• Experience in handling contrast media and emergency situations
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams
• Attention to detail and strong documentation/record-keeping skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
