We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator with UAE healthcare experience (clinic or hospital). The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, handle billing and payments, and ensure smooth communication between patients and doctors in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Coordination & Appointment Management
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using HIS (Hospital Information System)
- Coordinate with doctors and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle walk-in patients and manage waiting lists efficiently
- Ensure accurate patient registration and documentation
Patient Communication & Follow-Ups
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and reports
- Communicate professionally via phone, WhatsApp, and email
- Coordinate effectively between patients, doctors, and internal departments
Front Desk & Customer Experience
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain high standards of customer service and patient satisfaction
- Handle patient concerns and escalate when necessary
Billing & Cash Handling
- Prepare and process patient invoices and billing accurately
- Collect payments via cash, card, or online systems
- Issue receipts and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Coordinate with insurance (basic knowledge preferred) for approvals and billing
- Maintain daily cash records and ensure accuracy in closing reports
- Follow clinic financial policies and maintain confidentiality of financial data
Administrative & System Management
- Maintain and update patient records using HIS and MIS systems
- Assist in generating daily and monthly reports
- Ensure reception area is organized and professional at all times
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a UAE clinic or hospital
- Mandatory proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Experience working closely with doctors and healthcare teams
- Hands-on experience with HIS and MIS systems
- Experience in billing, cashiering, and handling patient payments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy clinical environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude
Visa Preference
- Candidates with Family Visa or Husband Visa are preferred
