Job Description

The Respiratory therapist is responsible for performing respiratory therapy procedure as per departmental protocols and to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

1.  Perform pulmonary  procedures like Pulmonary function test(PFT),Fraction of exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO),Diffusing  capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide(DLCO),6 minute walk test; assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
2.  Administers respiratory therapy treatments by bronchopulmonary drainage; assisting with breathing exercise.
3. Participates in the ordering and inventory of equipment and supplies   

for the  non-invasive Lab.

1.  Check and maintain pulmonary machine functional readiness.
2.  Maintaining patient records.
3.  Participation in the organizations quality improvement and safety activities.

Qualifications

  4.1 Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Care Technology.

   4.2 6 months of Internship in Respiratory Care Technology.

  4.3 Current license in country of origin with DHA license to practice in Dubai   

   U.A.E.

  4.4 Two years of recent related work experience as Respiratory Therapist.

  4.5 Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic language   

        Advantageous / desirable but not essential.

   4.6 Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.
