Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (SSBZH) is seeking a Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join its dynamic Emergency Department. The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced clinical environment, ensuring timely assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of acute conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients presenting with acute and critical conditions.
  • Triage, assess, and stabilize patients in accordance with international emergency care standards and hospital protocols.
  • Manage a high volume of patients efficiently while maintaining quality and safety of care.
  • Perform emergency procedures and interventions as required.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate patient disposition.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support junior medical staff and contribute to clinical teaching when required.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine.
  • Board certification or equivalent (Arab Board / Syrian Board / European / UK / American Board preferred).
  • Valid DOH License or Eligibility for Specialist Emergency Medicine.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Proven ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
